Cyrillic ( Glogolic / Glagolica ).

These are the names of two alphabets invented by St. Cyril and St. Methodius
for writing what we Old Church Slavonic. I started to learn Serbo-Croat in 1956,
Russian in 1966 and Czech in 1969. All Slavic languages are closely related
but Serbian and Bulgarian are most closely related since they both belong to
the South Slavic Group and the two countries are neighbors. There is even
a transition dialect of Serbian that is influenced by Bulgarian. For me, the
only difficult in learning Bulgarian is the verbal system with its many tenses,
which as difficult as or even more difficult than the corresponding English
system. Do learn Serbian, as speaking even a little is very much appreciated
by the inhabitants of the various countries where forms of this languge are
spoken such as Croatia and Bosnia-Hercegovina. Serbian has the most
regular grammar of the Slavic languages when it comes to case endings,
while Bulgarian has no such endings at all.
