IE PassView – View stored Microsoft Internet Explorer passwords program

Thursday, 5th January 2012

While checking a friend of mine's blog, I've seen a reference to a Windows program capable of revealing stored website passwords.
Check stored internet explorer passwords in plaintext with IE PassView

IE PassView is a small password management utility that reveals the passwords stored by Internet Explorer Web browser, and allows you to delete passwords that you don't need anymore. It supports all versions of Internet Explorer, from version 4.0 and up to 9.0.
Ie PassView is quite a good one for crackers, who would like to steal some lame poor Windows IE user facebook, gmail, yahoo etc. passwords 😉 here is a link to IE Passview's download page

  1. youDo you believe that removing malware and also viruses can make your pc run speedier. Isn't it truly a matter of safety more than computer speed? I know there's some speed improvement but for nearly all desktops today having a program like this running says:
Firefox 3.5.3 Firefox 3.5.3 Windows XP Windows XP
    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; pl; rv: Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3

Do you think that Windows 7 is much better at protecting pc users from viruses and spyware? I have a couple of laptops with Windows 7 installed and both have had troubles with viruses. Now it may be that my wife uses one and my boy uses the other. But operating systems should protect the pc regardless of who is using it. Just saying.
