I get the underlying point. I would be curious on your take on Christian Rock or Metal. I know plenty of Christian Rock and Metal bands that are Christians and live out out in their music and life.

Hi Joe,
I used to be listening to a lot of Christian metal in past.
And for sure Christian metal is an option to hard-core metal guys
who turn to Christ. The problem with Christian metal often however
is it has a major protestant influence and sometimes preaches doctrines
which are unorthodox and not in accordance to true Christian faith.
Anyways thanks God there is Christian metal as this is another tool to
spread the Gospel.

While that is definitely true, the same can be said about all music including some traditional hymns. Personally, I believe there has to be a number of different ways in which the gospel can be spread, because not everyone can relate to one thing. Positive Christian music can come from a variety of music genres. Just because a musician isn't quoting scripture does not mean that its wrong to listen to. I thank God that there is a variety of Christian music now that I can enjoy, instead of being forced to listed to something that I do not like. To generalize and label and label something as all wrong is not beneficial in spreading the the good news.
The gospel message is not as complex and people make it out. It is simple and was designed that way so that all may know Christ. I learned a little acronym that helps me describe what the gospel is. God created us to be with him, Our sins separate us from God. Sins cannot be removed by good deeds, paying the price for sin, Jesus dies and rose again, Everyone who trusts in Him alone has eternal life, Life with Jesus starts now and lasts forever. The G.O.S.P.E.L.
