Another peaceful week
Praise the Lord and his Holy name for
he hears my prayers and grants me peaceful days! The week went fast
and without much problems, servers are working smoothly. Of course
everything could not be perfect (at least in this life), School
Projects are not going well and I don't know anymore what will
happen again it's up to God's will. I pretty much feel like Moses
being into Egypt with the Israelians and now and then I'm tempted
to scream to God just like them: "Why did you bring us here in this
desert to let us die", of course the place I'm is hundred thousand
million times than a desert but still at a moments the goal and
reason of being here fades away and I feel lst and directionless.
Then I pray to our Heavenly Father in the name of our Saviour and
his Son (Jesus Christ) and wait for God's grace (The Holy Spirit)
to confort me and enpower me with his Sourt, to touch me with his
caring hand to fill me with his love, to make the ways infront of
me straight and of course to Lead me! Today we had a meeting at
10:00 at room (S201) which is a Study room with our company CEO
(Joop Vinke). The meeting didn't really help us to understand what
we should do on the "Change Management" plan thus we have to
experiment and see what will happen, anyhow it seems like the
project is not going well form what we've heard from Joop. Later at
14:15 we had Business Ethic classes. I don't know if I mentioned
but we have 3! lecturers (teachers) in that classes. Often their
behaviour is quite schizophrenic they act like mad mands who went
totally out of their minds, at least this is my and some other
students impression, it might be they're doing that on purpose,
anyways I still don't get the point. We were pleasently surpised by
the fact we should have red the 6 textbooks on Business Ethics and
be prepared for the test which is in 2 weeks time (it's scheduled
for week 7). Ugh ... Today the dinner started at the late 23
o'clock. As we do for a week or so I, Ina, Mimi,Bianka and Kolio
gathered and ate the delicious dinner which was prepared by Ina and
Bianka. The dinner included stewed Vegatables Meatball Potatoes and
a salad of tomatoes with (Bulgarian) Cheese and salad leafs. Oh I
forgot to mentionthat when I came back from school I manually
laundered my dirty clothes (socks, under-vests, underwear, t-shirts
and my pullover). The last few hours I'm reading things online and
trying to improve my english. This is one of the reasons I blog
such annoying thigngs here

Configure Wireless Internet on Linux in Arnhem Business School ( Hogelschool van Arnhem and Nijmegen ).
I was able to configure SecureW2's
Wireless Internet within ABS (Arnhem Business School) on Linux. By
taking some time to experiment. Here is how I did it.
1. You'll need the package wpasupplicant
2. Use wpa_supplicant.conf configuration like this one:
Put the above configuration in let's say /etc/ under the name wpa_supplicant.conf
Create a script han-internet.sh, put the following within the script
To do this you have to:
Edit /etc/network/interfaces
Add something similar in it:
Don't forget to change your interface name mine is wlan, yours could be different
3. Enjoy your Wireless Internet within the HAN building!
P.S. I configured that on my Debian 4.0 system, but I think t would work with any other Linux/BSD system out there
1. You'll need the package wpasupplicant
2. Use wpa_supplicant.conf configuration like this one:
ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant ctrl_interface_group=0 eapol_version=1 ap_scan=1 #fast_reauth=1 network={ ssid="han" scan_ssid=1 key_mgmt=IEEE8021X eap=TTLS phase2="auth=PAP" identity="your_username" password="yoursecretpass" priority=100 }
Put the above configuration in let's say /etc/ under the name wpa_supplicant.conf
Create a script han-internet.sh, put the following within the script
#!/bin/sh # Written by hip0 23.09.2008 # Under GPL v2 # Read it here http://gnu.org/licenses/gpl2.txt # kill any existing instances of wpa_supplicant or dhclient if [[ $(ps ax |grep -i dhclient|grep -v grep) ]]; then killall -9 dhclient >/dev/null 2>&1 fi if [[ $(ps ax |grep -i wpa_supplicant|grep -v grep) ]]; then killall -9 wpa_supplicant >/dev/null 2>&1 fi # initialize connection to the HAN wireless AP wpa_supplicant -B -i wlan0 -D wext -c /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf sleep 5; dhclient -nw wlan0 >/dev/null 2>&1If you're a debian user you could configure your machine to connect to your wireless network during boot:
To do this you have to:
Edit /etc/network/interfaces
Add something similar in it:
iface wlan0 inet dhcp pre-up wpa_supplicant -B -D wext -i wlan0 -c /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf pre-down killall -9 wpa_supplicant pre-down killall -9 dhclient
Don't forget to change your interface name mine is wlan, yours could be different
3. Enjoy your Wireless Internet within the HAN building!
P.S. I configured that on my Debian 4.0 system, but I think t would work with any other Linux/BSD system out there

Funny thing
I strongly recommend to check for the
keyword fartman in youtube, this buddy is a real fart freak
Enjoy!

Everything you ever wondered about farting!
I was googling around and stucked
upon this interesting
website which explains everything you ever wondered about
farting
I'm reading it right now and have a lot of fun. Apart from this let
me tell you few words about how my school is going. Well I'm
totally uninterested about the matters we study and at the same
time it's a bit difficult for me to catch up everything in the
classes. My mind rejects to work properly now and then and when I
try to say something I block (fail to remember) certain words. I
should be and thankful to God that at least I don't have serious
issues with the servers, everything is running smoothly. I should
say I miss mothercountry Bulgaria. Today we had Dutch Language and
Culture classes and after that Counseling. In this counselling
lesson I didn't really liked it like the last time we had 2 weeks
ago. I had some problems with HAN Internet Connection in the
Hogelschool (the Dutch word for college). Dutch is really hard
language to learn .. I even see some fundamental holes in my
English which I'm trying to fill in this days. At Thursday we had
to gather with my group and we have to work on The Change
Management Project, yes I think I still haven't mentioned that here
but we're having that module (subject), Change Management. The
other disciplines we study are European Integration and Business
Ethics. I should say that this business ethic classes are really
pissing me off. If I put my business ethics experience in one word
the word would be "chaos". What really irritates me is that the
teachers here doesn't really teach anything they just share their
ideas and point of view and if you didn't comply with their opinion
then you're wrong and they're right. Another nasty thing is they
want us to accept their personal phylosophies and ideas but if we
try to present them ours they're fighting us and not really
listening (ignoring us). I got that impression here that there is
not really a good systematic approach in going through the
subjects, classes are more like (phylisophical discussions) rather
than studying theoretical models. Another thing I cannot really
accet is that they're stressing too much on the HBDI model. They
think that because this model for brain analysis is proofed it
might always be used successfully to analyze your mind work (a way
of thinking). If wondering what is HBDI read more about it here
, also you might be interested to check out this website . An interesting fact is
that Microsoft is heavily using that model in their recruitment and
selection of personnel. The basic 4 colours used in the model are
much used within Microsoft Products and the Google search engine,
e.g. take a close look at the Google's s logo it contains that 4
colours (green, yellow, red, blue). To end up this post I have to
say I really am homesics, I miss my friends and parents a lot and
I'm unpatient to go home. Today it was a hard day for me, I
regreted deeply that I didn't choose to stay (transfer in the Hotel
Management programme) in the International University College in
Dobrich. Now I have to study for 2 more years and I really have
problems with my thinking, information I know really mixes and the
result is not pretty. I was not productive (efficient) this whole
day, I'm really angry at times I cannot do anything right and most
of the time here it looks like I'm loosing my time, hope I'm wrong
and I'm not loosing my time. At least I have a good possibility to
get more proficient in speaking English .. To conclude that post I
have to thank God for still taking care for me and giving me so
much day by day.

A birthday Party
On 16th of September two Bulgarian
Girls. Bianka and Diana had a birthday on the same date. Me Ina and
a couple of other Bulgarians were invited into Bianka's place. I
could say it was a nice birthday party. Typically in a Bulgarian
way the most important thing on the party was the food and there
was a lot of it. Most of the ppl on the party quite logically were
Bulgarians, the two exceptions was two foreigners Maxim (From
France) and another girl from Germany. I should say there company
was really pleasent. We drinked French white wine (a really sweet
one). At the end of the party we singed the so typical and somewhat
banal song "Happy Birthday" after which we had a dish full of cake.
An interesting thing about this birthday was that there was 3
pieces of cake for everybody :). Today it was a really quite and
peaceful day for me for which of course I have to Thank God! Thank
you Lord! There is not much to say everything I am and have I owe
to God (The Holy Trinity). He is so merceful to me the sinner!
Blessed be Oh Holy of Israel! Amen!

A Bulgarian party at Honigkamp
Today I laundered my clothes by hand.
Pff it's a hard thing to launder by hand. At night we had a dinner
and a sort of Bulgarian night. Terrible thing it is I'm more and
more convinced that most of the Bulgarians are mindless creatures.
Most of them had a real big fun on typically profane Chalga songs
like "Doko, Doko", "Guci, Guci" etc. I got really angry at a point
and started telling them they're real villagers. Anyways, I'm
thinking of changing the stream from HRQM to IBMS. I'm really in a
big dilemma what to do again. Pff. I just took a shower and I'm
going to bed. Night.

Discipline
Days go by, day by day. Today we had
to hand in two assignments. One for the International Labour Law,
our task was to make a valid Expatriate Contract Agreement and the
other one was our draft for the Human Resource Environment (HRE)
subject + A Management Contract and a filled decision form (the
decision firm is required the 1st quarter of the Management Game),
that we just started playing. At 10:30 we had our International
Labour Law class and we handed in the contract. The teacher told us
that we had to exchange our contracts and try to analyze the
contract created by the opposite group (I forgot to mention we were
doing the projects in groups). We had to analyze a contract made by
two other Bulgarian colleagues and Bart (A Dutch guy), we had a lot
of fun with that contract since it was really written without any
legal terminology and there was lack of meaning in a lot of the
sentences. After the classes we spend a lot of time in the canteen
first I had to do few other things because they called from the
office, right after that I, Christine (an Indonesian) and Matthijas
(A Dutch Guy) worked on our Group assignments for the the HRE. We
had completed it just about 5:30. And then we came back home to
Honigkamp after we went to Alberheijm to get bread. Here at the
dormitory I have serious problems with Wireless internet it's quite
often I don't have internet at all just like now. Right now I'm in
Ina's room and blogging that from her laptop. 30 Minutes ago we had
a dinner today we ate a sort of omelette. Probably soon I'll go
downstairs on the 1st floor where I live and will read my Change
Management textbook. Well that's mostly how my days are passing.
From time to time I'm issuing questions to myself asking am I on
the right place. Is that the place I have to be, it's only God who
knows this answers. The day before yesterday I had really terrible
problem with one of the servers I'm responsible I had to issue a
reboot request and it was down for like 3.5 hours until it was
rebooted I was really scared would the server boot it would be
quite a mess if it didn't so I prayed fervently to God to make the
machine somehow online. Ater few fervent prayers God did granted
the prayer and the server came back online!. Hooray! Hallelujah to
The Lord in Heaven! Also I should thank God for giving me food and
everything required for my normal living here and especially for
giving me joy and Peace. Glory to (The Father, The Son and the Holy
Spirit)! now and forever and ever Amen!

Theater Sports
Today we had nothing in our schedule.
So I investigated a bit what is expatriate because we have
assignment for the next week. We had to create an blank application
form for a real expatriate agreement. The day was pretty normal
thanks God. At the morning I felt really bad like sick did my usual
'warming' exercises. Around 11 we had a breakfast with Ina as usual
in the kitchen on the 5th floor. upstairs in the cooridor and in
the kitchen it was a total mess, there was a birthday party
happening there so it looked like a bomb has fallen. Two hours or
so I was feeling much much better. At around 3 we went to the
university because we had to give a picture which is required for
our future student cards at HAN. The studentcards are supposed to
be ready in a week or a little less. We spend around 2 hours in the
canteen, Ina and her group of three people were discussing how to
make their project. For the next week we had to hand in two
assignments. In 6 o'clock we went to the so called Theater Sports.
In case you wonder what is Theater Sports it is a sort of games
which are supposed to develop your artistic and communicating
skills. Well this games are really stupid and at the same time fun
and educational, we didn't waited for the games to over and during
the little break we had. We took our way home, first we went to the
food store Alberheim and we got some chicken meat, mushrooms and
milk. We got back home and Ina cooked it in a really good way with
carrots. At night just after our dinner I spoke over skype with my
Mom and Dad, pretty boring eh? Well I hope today it wasn't the next
lost day. Although for a moment I really thought so.

Directionless
There is no much too say except I
feel really directionless right now. I don't thing that my HR
studies are of any interest to me. I'm so unsuitable for higher
educatio, pfff

A Sunday in the Netherlands
I woke up, washed my teeth, did my
regular morning excersises then Ina came my room and we went out
shopping. In Sunday all shops are closed in the netherlands thus
the near food store we usually shop from Alberheim is closed too.
That's why we moved to the center. We first ate in a place called
"Subway", the vegetarenian sort of hamburger costed 2 EU, then we
walked through the shops in the center and researched where is what
and how the prices vary in the different stores. Ina bought
sunglasses, a blouse and ear-rings. We were also happy to find 24
hours opened shop right in the center. It seems that usually in
Sunday the only place where the shops are opened is the center. We
took some beer and went and stood along a little lake enjoying the
swan and the ducks and crows which moved and flewer aroud. Then we
catched the way for home looking around for unlocked bikes which we
may take (it's common here in the Netherlands to just take unlocked
bikes and make them yours even I heard a lot of people leave the
old unusused bikes on the street unlocked so you can just take it
and use it. On our way home Ina saw left old Zanussi fridge next to
a trash bin with a note on it saying something in Dutch containing
the Dutch word "wekrt" which literally translated means works. So
we hoped the fridge is a working one. We called Koko and Sali to
come end help us with the fridge. Then Koko and Sali came and
helped us move the fridge to the Honigkamp 2 which is the building
of the dormitory I live in. Later I collected the dry laundry and
went to take a shower, then I moved to the 5th floor's kitchen (My
room is in the 1st floor). Where we gather with Ina for breakfasts,
lunch or dinner. It's a common thing the last few days that all the
Bulgarians that we live in Honigkamp just gather together with the
laptops and listen to a different kinds of music and talking about
stuff. Although is's so nice in the Netherlands I'm homesick a
little. I also feel like going in no concrete direction. It's a
common thing temptations come that tempt me to smoke again. Also a
really terrible temptation I face is a one I faced a dozen of
times. You know there are some girls that really are my type of
girls unfortunately every time I look at that girls I start falling
in love. This is just fine the bad thing is that I'm usually too
"different", unconventional etc. to fit nice with the girls I like.
Day by day I search for truths and I'm not sure I'm able to reach
them .. the poor man I'm ehh...
