How my day passed

Monday, June 25th, 2007

My day started at 10:00 when a man called and asked is his Windows preinstalled and I pointed him to call to Nomen because his computer was in Nomen. Later I met Nomen and we have a walk in the central park. Then we went to see Jivko the Beggar. Hel told us a story how a skinhead started throwing stones at him for no reason … A sort of protestant Christian came and started telling me very messed things about Christ his new life etc. etc. I told him that I would send him to a hospital If I had the power :]. After that I met Lily and we walked for sometime together on my way to my uncle. I tried to read/explain him The New Testament “The Gospel of Mark”. But every time I started telling him how Christ has paid the price for us with his Holy Blood, and how He exchanged his rightfulness for our unrightfulness he started to get sleepy (strange). After that we had a great dinner together, I decided to stay for the dinner just because I wanted to suggest them to pray before eating, we prayed together with “The Lord’s Prayer”. After that I decided to walk to Mino’s coffee and I drinked a beer there with Ceco and Dido. After that I went home and spend some time reading posts on the “http://whygodwonthealamputees.com”. This forums are addictive but seems that are disturbing for my spiritual health, so I should to visit this place. I read some Christians on the Topic some of them were interesting it’s seems St. Anthony healed amputees so someday It’s vital to read about the Living of this Saint. The day passed comparingly untroublful for which I may only give a thanks to God :]. Few times during the day I hhave lost the point of where my life is going to and I doubt about my faith and Christ as a Saviour and the meaning of life, but it’s unescapable it’s the devil work to put lies into my head in the end :].END—–

the relics of saint great martyr GeorgePomorie Monastery st. (George) Georgi miraculous craeting icon of saint George

Currently I’m once again in Pomorie’s monastery for the Saint George’s day

It is the second year I take the time to come for a pilgrimage in Pomorie’s Monastery st. great Martyr George (Georgi).<</b>

I’m named after the great Christian saint (It’s my Name day today :)!) and I do wanted to receive a spiritual blessing here in the monastery.

The believing Orthodox Christians this year could receive a spiritual blessing this year from the Monastery as some of the Holy Relics of many great saints are temporary in the monastery for the Monastery’s feast day which is the day we commemorate our great Orthodox Christian martyr saint Georgi.

It’s unique that this year by God’s grace the monastery has temporary received a small particle of the holy relics of st. George.
The pilgrims could come here and does venerate the great saint martyrs for which I thank God for being allowed by his providence to be here in the monastery and venerate the holy relics.

Here are few photos of the Holy relics from the monastery, on the pictures you see the holy relics of Saint Cyprian & St. Justina on the right, st. George’s holy relics in the center and st. Macrina’s holy relics on the left.

Abbot of Pomorie Monastery Father Ierotei and holy relics of st. Macrina

On the picture above you see the Abbot of Pomorie monastery Father Ierotei (who is a truly great father and a wonderful spirited man !) with the holy relics (bones) of saint Macrina on his left.

On this last picture you can see the holy relics of the Pomorie’s monastery embedded into icons (the two icons on the right).

Pomoriiski Manastir Holy relics

I thank God for blessing me with being here in this holy cloister and blessing me with being able to venerate the holy martyrs relics and through this bless me and strengthen me.!

It’s important to say that we the orthodox Christians had the tradition to venerate our saint holy remains as a way to venerate God himself in accordance to the holy bible psalm which says Great and Glorious is God in his saints!

I’m sorry to provide my readers with this bad quality pictures, I’ll try to put some better quality pictures of the holy remains in very short time.
Being able to show this holy remains to other orthodox christian brother and sisters is also a great grace and blessing which by God’s grace was given to us the sinners! Just to close I’ll say glory be to our God – The Holy Trinity now and forever and ever amen!

A feast of saint martyr Marina

On friday I and a bus full of other brothers and sisters (most of them ladies above 60 yrs old) been to the monastery near Botevo. For the big feast and the district gathering many priests as well as the Varna mitropolit attended the liturgy. On my way in the ChurchI’ve met a nice gentle looking father who was anointing the insiders I even asked for his blessing later on I realized he is a monk for already 11 years if I recall correctly. In the Church service I was helping with the liturgy preparations unwittingly I spilled some of the oil one of the altar stick was handling one of the priests got really angry with me, it was ridiculous the reaction not really fitting his priesthood. But anyways … the service was led by metropolit Kiril a metropolitan of the Varna and Velikopreslav districts. I was feeling spiritually not so well during the church service the same has happened to me to the previous liturgy with metropolit Kiril I’ve red online for some frauds he was involved in no idea if that is true anyways God would know best. After the liturgy there was some food for free fish soup even though it was friday a day for fasting fish is allowed on feasts. I’ve met two monks and a guy who was a novice preparing to be ordained as a monk on the next day as well as a nun who happened to be a Macedonian and couldn’t speak Bulgarian. After the Church service I was shocked by the behaviour of the same monk who blessed me during I entered the church, now he screamed at me for the fact I was too slowly hauling up the stairs leading to the little church. I had a few interesting conversations with the priesthood and the clergy. In general the whole trip and what happened there disappointed me not to say shakened my faith for I’ve seen things like smoking monk, a priest whose looking appeared like he is demon infestedsome other minor things which I cannot remember anymore.. In the evening I met nomen who just came back from Sofia for the weekend. We was out for a beer with him Alex and Bino. On the day after I and my father and mother went to my village because somebody had to dig up the vineyeard to clean it up from the grown weed. It was quite fun to dig around with a hoe. It’s a pity I couldn’t shot some pictures for you to see how literate a sys admin could dig up with a mattock. Nomen came to my village to pick me up around 4 o’clock. We completed the vineyard clean up around 6 and was in Dobrich around 19:30. A bit later in the evening I went out to meet Nina in the central park. On Sunday I was to a Church service in the Holy Trinity temple afterwards I and Nina drinked coffee on the fountain. In the early afternoon I went to the church again cause friends mine was wedding (Katia and Vlado), may God bless them with long joint life together. In the late afternoon Bino came home and I him and Nina went out for a drink on the “fountain”. Just to sum it up. I’m do thank my God for his aboundant everyday mercies.END—–
